We recently completed work to add group support to FormBuilder in CiviCRM. This is a powerful feature that is useful in lots of ways. For example, now it’s easy to add those ‘Also sign me up to your newsletter’ checkboxes to any custom forms that you make.
It was an interesting journey which started with some experimentation with a couple of client sites, and has now ended up in core. You can read more about how it came about in this blog post on adding group support to FormBuilder on the CiviCRM blog.
