We’re a close-knit team focused on doing the best for our clients and creating non-profit tech.

William

William’s understanding of non-profit technology comes from over 25 years of working with charities and voluntary organisations across the UK. He’s worked on both sides of the fence, as a consultant providing expert advice, and as an employee and as a trustee of charities.

He’s been a huge fan of CiviCRM since 2010 and runs the ever popular CiviUsers UK online meet-up showcasing how organisations are using CiviCRM to deliver their missions.

Kurund

Kurund is a committed non-profit technologist with more than 20 years experience developing software for clients around the world. He was part of the original founding team of CiviCRM and has played a pivotal role in the project since.

He joined Third Sector Design in 2020 where he is focused on developing CiviCRM to meet client needs and on exploring new technologies we can use to help our clients.

Rebecca

Rebecca helps our clients make the most out of CiviCRM and WordPress through expert advice, training, website building and CRM configuration.

She has a wealth of experience in systems development and the application of technology to solve business problems. Earlier in her career, she worked in a number of roles in the private sector, before shifting focus to non-profits, and then joining Third Sector Design in 2019.

Johanna

Johanna is our head of operations, ensuring that are clients are happy and that our internal systems run smoothly so we can deliver on our vision to grow and sustain the non-profit tech sector.

Before joining Third Sector Design, she worked as a project manager atĀ MADEBY – a non-profit sustainable fashion consultancy, as head of logistics at the sustainable fashion brandĀ People Tree, and also ran a very tasty street food stand in Whitecross Street Market, London!

Michael

Michael founded Third Sector Design in 2005 after working in various non-profit and public sector roles. He is focused on helping clients make the most of CiviCRM and WordPress, and on developing these tools to further serve non-profits.

He has played a key role growing the CiviCRM community since 2008, organising the first meet-ups and conferences, and working as CiviCRM’s community manager between 2013 and 2015.
